BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS (2021 Season)
- DEFINITIONS
- “The Park” refers to Mother Ivey’s Bay Holiday Park, Trevose Head, Nr. Padstow, Cornwall PL28 8SL.
- “The Park Owners” refers to the owners and managers of The Park with whom we hold a lease.
- “The Van” refers to the mobile home (ABI Beverley 2020) situated on plot 185 of The Park.
- “You” and “Your” refers to the primary booker as completed in the Booking Form along with the other individuals named in the Booking Form.
- “We”, “Us” and “Our” refers to Robert and Madeleine Jude, who are the registered owners of The Van.
- GENERAL
- Except due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, The Van will be available for Your occupation after 3pm on the afternoon of the first day of your stay.
- You are required to vacate The Van by 9:30am on the last morning of your stay.
- We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the hire fee to confirm Your booking.
- The balance of the hire fee must be paid 8 weeks prior to the commencement of Your booking.
- The Van should be left in a clean and tidy condition. Beds should be stripped and linen packed into the laundry bag supplied. Please note that we do not supply towels.
- You are responsible for any breakages or damage caused during your stay, except that caused by reasonable wear and tear.
- Except by prior arrangement, pets are not permitted.
- The Park normally requires payment of a nominal car parking fee (which is donated to the National Trust Trevose Head Appeal). You will be responsible for this at the Park Reception on arrival.
- The Van has a private wi-fi connection, password details will be left in the Van. Please note that although reception is fairly strong, during peak times bandwidth can be limited and connection intermittent/erratic. To avoid disappointment, You should understand that it is likely to be unsuitable for video or game streaming.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- Should We have to cancel Your booking for any reason whatsoever, Our liability will be limited to a refund of the monies paid. You are advised to take out appropriate holiday and/or travel insurance to cover this.
- PARK RULES AND BYE-LAWS. We are required to inform You of the Rules and Bye-Laws of The Park and by accepting these terms and conditions You also agree to abide by The Park’s rules.
- Pedestrian priority on all Park roads. We operate a ‘walking’ speed limit (never exceeding 5mph) with pedestrian priority around the Park. Please watch out for children. Drivers must hold a current driving licence and be covered by insurance. For safety reasons roller skates, roller blades and skateboards are not allowed anywhere on the Park.
- Noise. Please show consideration to your neighbours and keep noise down – particularly between 11.00 pm and 7.30 am.
- Rubbish and recycling facilities are provided within easy reach of all units. Please recycle to help reduce waste. Help to keep the Park immaculate by keeping your pitch clean and tidy. Doggy litter bins are also provided.
- Notices, signs and directions posted in the Park must be observed.
- The Park Management reserves the right to refuse admission to, or eject from the Park, any dog which it considers inappropriate as a family pet. Dogs must be kept on leads (not exceeding 2 metres) at all times on the Park and between 10.00 am and 6.00 pm on the beach. Please exercise dogs off the Park and beach. (Should accidents happen, please clear up).
- Do not leave dogs unattended.
- Please remember your dog’s bedding. Dogs are not allowed on beds or settees.
- No other pets are permitted.
- Supermarket deliveries are not permitted on Park.
- The Company and its employees accept no liability for loss or damage to persons or property about the Park, nor for any equipment or facilities which may be temporarily out of use.
- Any person in breach of Our Booking Conditions and Park Bye-laws, plus any person causing offence to other guests may, at the discretion of the Park Management, be asked to leave immediately. No refund will be given.
- Gates are locked to vehicles between midnight and 7.00 am.
- Barbecues in a proper container are permitted on the Park and beach. No open fires. Please do not put disposable BBQs on the grass.
- Boats are not permitted on the Park or the beach without prior written permission from the Park.
- All visitors must register at Reception.
- Please sort your waste and use the recycling bins provided at the designated refuse points.
- The Park Owner accepts no liability for any accident to persons or property howsoever caused on or about the Park.
- Anyone found defacing or causing damage to any buildings, equipment, or property on the Park faces immediate eviction and prosecution. Please note that parents are responsible for their children’s actions.
- The Park Owner reserves the right to evict any person or group of persons not complying with Our Booking Conditions and these Bye-laws.
